Celebrating Milestones

On Sunday, May 20th, we honored our high school graduates during our worship services. It was a wonderful day as we celebrated with the seniors and their families. The seniors shared more about their faith and future plans during Endeavor. We are all very proud of this fantastic group of graduates and know God has great plans for their lives.

Along with graduations, we celebrate other milestones like birthdays, anniversaries, new homes, new babies and more. God is with us as we experience each milestone throughout our lives. There is one milestone that is especially celebrated in Heaven, and that is when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

In the past few months, Christ Church has had the joy of witnessing believers who choose to join our membership including teen and adult baptisms. Milestones like this should be celebrated as we live out the mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Please be in prayer as our youth head to Summer Games University in July. My hope is that for some of these young people they will experience a life-changing spiritual milestone. We know God has something great in store for the campers, huddle leaders, and adult volunteers that will be at SGU this year.

This year’s theme for SGU is 360 and we’ll be focusing on the 360 days that our campers are away from camp because camp is only 5 days of their year.
